OceanLife by BrantApps is a professional tool for gathering swell, wind, weather and tide information for anywhere in the world. The application can be used to find the best conditions for a variety of coastal activities including (but not limited to) sailing, surfing, diving and fishing.

OceanLife does away with the traditional drill-down methods for gathering information about a location and empowers the user to configure any spot, anywhere in the world via an intuitive and familiar 'Spot Wizard'. Building on this customisation, each spot exposes a set of user defined preferences in order to rate the actual conditions retrieved from the raw data to the preferred conditions.

The result is an an application that can be configured to rate the current conditions for an array of activities in order to generate a star rating.

BUOY DATA
- Significant wave height
- Significant period
- Swell direction (when available)

CONDITIONS DATA
- Current wind speed and direction at the nearest location
- Current and forecast weather conditions

TIDE DATA
- The next low water
- The next high water
- The tidal rate according to the rule of twelfths

* Ocean measure data is provided via the NOAA RealTime API (713 buoy stations available) with the tidal harmonics generated from FlatterCo's XTide (> 8000 tide positions mapped).
